Presenting a sweet pocket inspired by little peppermint candies!  Handmade by me using wool from an old plaid skirt as the background.  The candy is made with pink wool and white matelasse, and the little wrapper ends are the scalloped borders from a vintage hankie. The center of the candy is a vintage glass button.

The top of the pocket I layered ribbons, and more scraps of hankie and matelasse.  The bottom is trimmed with white pompom fringe.The seam binding handle is embellished with gold mercury glass beads.  A so sweet tag is attached with a cute little brown safety pin.

It measures about 7"L x 3"W and is signed and dated.  A perfect holder for an ipod or any Christmas sweets!
