Once upon a time there was a little girl who spent her childhood making things. She colored, cut and pasted. She spent hours with her Mom playing paper dolls and decorating her doll house. She visited her Nanny and learned to crochet.
As she made things, she imagined magical lands filled with enchanting gardens and whimsical characters.
As she imagined, her love of making things blossomed like petals of a flower.
This little girl grew up, started a family and throughout the ups and downs of life, making things has been a constant comfort, a need for the soul, of sorts.
She finds inspiration all around her, through her beautiful children, a blooming rose, an old hankie from her great grandma, a bowl full of old buttons or a ladybug resting on a daisy. She gathers that inspiration and takes it with her to her studio and dreams of those enchanting gardens and whimsical characters and watches them come to life before her eyes: And she is happy.
That person is is me, Kelli E. Flitton, wife, mom, maker of pretty things:
